Chromium, an important trace element of the sugar metabolism, is an essential trace element that plays an important role in the body's sugar metabolism. After eating, the glucose obtained from carbohydrates is transported into the cells. Insulin is necessary for this process. However, chromium also plays an active role in this process and thus contributes to maintaining a normal blood sugar level. Various circumstances can lead to an additional demand for this trace element. Chromium is particularly important in a typically Western, carbohydrate-rich diet, as it plays a role in the usability of macronutrients (e.g. carbohydrates and fats). Also the increasing age or a high sports workload can increase the daily chromium requirement. Biogena Chromium 200 mg contains chromium in physiological dosage and is therefore particularly suitable for daily supplementation in cases of increased need, such as in elderly people, carbohydrate-rich diets or competitive athletes.

Take 1 capsule per day with a meal and plenty of liquid.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The food supplement should not be used as a meal replacement. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a dark, dry place at room temperature.
